Reid Radtke

Reid Radtke has been a Leadership Keynote Speaker with HIS International since 2017 and accepted a position as a board member in 2018. Reid and Sharon, his wife of 28 years, joined the HIS team in March 2023. Reid earned his pilot’s license and a BS in Aeronautical Science andManagement of Technical Operations while attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University inDaytona Beach, FL.

 

Sharon graduated from Rhode Island College with a bachelor’s degree inEducation and Sociology. She is in her 18th year of teaching at Ballentine Elementary School in Irmo, SC. Sharon participates in HIS International and international student activities as time permits.

 

Reid and Sharon have two children, who graduated from University of South Carolina. Reid is also an adjunct professor at the Darla Moore International School of Business at theUniversity of South Carolina in Columbia. Reid has over 30 years of extensive experience in business leadership and a career surrounded with international experience. He believes strongly in a unique combination of hands-on mentoring, valuing, and connecting with internationals to develop strong relationships that encourage people-oriented cultural leadership. Reid is highly passionate about the potential impact that HIS International can have to elevate global leadership for tomorrow.

Reid and Pat met in 2017 and quickly learned they had a very similar passion and vision with leadership and the potential impact of reaching international students. Reid is excited to become a team member and maintain the legacy of the Cannon’s, vision with reaching young leaders and establishing long-term relationships that build soft skills as well as mentor them and equip them with the insight of servant leadership. The longevity of the HIS foundation is a testament for the mission to continue to grow and proof of the need for such an organization.
