Language and Greetings
The most common language at USC is English. Most conversations begin with eye contact, and a greeting, such as "hello" or "how are you". Casual greeting gestures are typically handshakes or waving you hand.

Traditions
One of our main icons is our mascot Cocky! You will find him all around campus, at sporting events, and various evens around Columbia. Along with our mascot you'll see our hand sign "Spurs Up" showing pride in our school. Finally, we have two songs you will here all throughout campus, "Sandstorm" and the Alma Mater.
